Description
Dual function machine: Mattresses are taken from the stack and fed to a line or finished mattresses arrive on a conveyor onto the conveyor belt of the mattress stacker and are placed on a stack in prolongation of the line. Depending on the width of the stacker, the mattresses can be taken up longitudinally, transversally or in both directions. After picking up the mattress, the vertical drive moves to the upper edge of the stack. After picking up the mattress, the vertical drive moves to the upper edge of the stack. Thus the mattress remains over the stack, while the conveyor pulls out beneath.
With this mechanism, the mattress is aligned at the front edge and placed on the stack. Throughout the entire process, the mattress is supported by the conveyor belt. No loading of fresh adhesive seams, fresh packaging welds or the like.
