The right solution
We support you – not just as a supplier
The planning of a system always encompasses the entire process – we act as a consultant here, not just as a machine supplier.
New machines must be seamlessly integrated into existing production processes, which vary depending on the customer. The building also often sets framework conditions such as available space, pillars or transport and escape routes, which influence the layout of the system.
Inline or island – solutions for different requirements
Inline production is often considered more productive than production islands, as less logistical effort is required. However, the slowest process step determines the performance of the entire line, and varying cycle times for different mattress models can present challenges. Inline production should therefore include buffer zones as well as infeed and outfeed options, which in turn requires additional logistics.
Production islands enable higher overall production rates and offer more flexibility in planning. In addition, they can usually be converted to other products more quickly. Future requirements such as take-back regulations for used mattresses and closed material cycles are already influencing the design and production of new models. These aspects should be included in the planning right from the start.
A look at the actual total costs
Conscious planning right from the start
The total costs of a system depend not only on the investment, but also to a large extent on the ongoing operating costs and the service life. Durable and versatile machines form the basis for cost-effective production.
The aspects listed should be carefully considered in the early planning phase of a new system.
