1880
Founding of the company Johann Rösler “Machine Factory, Iron and Metal foundry” in Katharinberg near Reichenberg (today northern Czech Republic) for the development and production of spinning machines.
1946
Relocation to Mannheim and foundation of Johann Rösler OHG (IROMAT).
Owner: Josef and Johann Rösler. Change of production profile to mattress and upholstery industry machines
1967
World’s first belt filling machine for foam encapsulated spring mattresses. In connection with this technology the introduction ofion of glue assembly of the foam box.
1987
Josef Rösler retires. The Spühl AG St. Gallen takes over the company and establishes the Spühl (Germany) GmbH.
1992
The first fully automatic Bonnell mattress assembly line in the world (Flexlinea, Italy)l.
1994
Staff buy out and Founding of FillMatic Polsterindustriemaschinen GmbH to continue the historically grown activity from Rösler and SPÜHL.
1997
Presentation of the patented machine RollPack 160/30 for fast and PE-saving roll-packing of foam mattresses.
1999
Patent RollPack is also granted in the USA. Expansion of the Roll-pack Applications to additional Products.
2000
High speed stacker SVB for 4 mattresses per minute.[
The mattresses are getting higher – filling machine FU 200/24 for mattresses up to 24 cm, later also to 30 and 40 cm height.
2003
More space for new developments – Move to the new factory in Rudolf-Diesel-Str. 22, Mannheim.
2004
Introduction of the Rollcoater Machine CAM 220 for aqueous adhesive for sandwich mattresses.
2008
Highly automated manufacturing plant with roll coatier machine for 2 million mattresses per year.
2011
The first RFID controlled production line for in-line production (Glue assembly-stocking application-filling-packaging).
2013
Introduction of the SRA adhesive application machine for overspray free water based adhesives.
2015
The new Hot-Melt frame gluing generation HRA sets new standards for the bead application hot-melt adhesive in spring mattress production.
2019
Fully automatic roll packing with minimum film consumption.
Intranet web server for customer systems with error and production display.
2022
World first use of paper bag packaging for rollpacked mattresses.
2023
Low pressure airless process for precise and clean application of aqueous 2K adhesives.
